The Law Offices of F. Bryan Brice, Jr., a client-centered, full-service law firm focusing primarily on environmental law and land use issues, announces the addition of Robert R. Gelblum to our firm as Of Counsel.  In his new role, Mr. Gelblum will assist our firm and clients in all environmental areas, particularly Superfund matters and Brownfields Redevelopment.

Mr. Gelblum is a 1985 graduate of UNC law school.  He recently retired after 25 years of service with the N.C. Department of Justice and N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources, having served as lead counsel for the State’s Brownfields Program from its inception in 1997.  From 1992 to 2003, he served as Counsel to the State’s Superfund Program.  Prior to that, Mr. Gelblum handled water quality, air quality, sedimentation, mining, well construction, forestry, parks & recreation, community development, and job training matters.  From 1989 to 1991, he was principal Water Quality attorney.
